ABBA Restraint

Okay, I just ripped ABBA Gold, and I showed enormous restraint.

I am not the biggest ABBA fan, but some schmaltz just has a 99.999% kill ratio and gets you.

I refuse to download "Dancing Queen" and I find "Money! Money!," "Voulez-Vous" and "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" absolutely atrocious, songs which would probably kill rodents if played on a loop into their cages.

I was going to say I tried to weed out the schmaltziest but with ABBA there is no such thing. It's all the schmaltziest. However, I did not download "Fernando," "Thank You for the Music," "Does Your Mother Know" and several others.

If there was a melodic equivalent of the hair flip, or the blonde shoulder pad-to- shoulder pad flummox move, it would be the typical ABBA song.
