I did see a hardcore Abu Ghraib photo as soon as I got there.

That is difficult to look at.

And the woman just looks like a total Diane Arbus creature.

The sense of irreality is so strong there.

She seems posed and doll-like. The leash is slack and yet there is agony on the features of her victim. She almost looks like she just materialized in the picture and is wondering where she is.

I was happy to hear one of Obama's first acts would be to shut down Guantanamo Bay.
