Here is a Good Article and Some Pretty Pictures...

of contemporary Icelandic art for you to look at.

It's what I call a "Volkswagen stuffer" article. They try to squeeze as many names as they can into the article and cover five artists at a time with one sentence. The writer has indeed stuffed well. The faces are pressed up against the bus windows and the artists seem to be in extreme pain.

But the writer says some appropriately cryptic things.

And the site seems really cool and seems to have a lot of Scandinavian features, dedicated to many subjects--not only art. So I favorited it.

And the pictures are pretty....I liked the kaleidoscopic photo of what appears to be a trash dump...or symmetry-altered photo anyway since I don't think it's truly kaleidoscopic...

The tent upside-down would be a cool moment in a movie if like David Lynch filmed in Iceland. The character would just encounter it, say nothing, and move on.

But in se...doesn't work for me...
