A Poem by Anne Tardos

This is from her New & Selected, The Dik-dik's Solitude.

     SHEN-KEY

Chawk, choke, benefictid outcastigation
Outcastigatrix solomonger abradoor for the good
I can say that, for the good.
Paternicity teleologic tremble
Inspiration through voyeuristic windows
Djerekes human
Little black mice scurrying about, shouting
"Shen-key, Shen-key, that's my name!"

*"Shen-key" is the English transliteration of the Hungarian word senki, which means "nobody.'
