Sand in the Vaseline (1992)

A two disc compilation, thirty three songs.

A perfect ten.

Snaps the neck of most contemporary music.

(Okay, I'm being hyperbolic. The second disc doesn't match the first for brilliance, although there are some supernal tracks. But they do seem to have chosen poor tracks from a few albums that had great ones. Does anyone really think "Blind" and "Mr. Jones" were the best tracks from that album. There were truly amazing tracks on that album. Those are not two of them. So this makes a great anthology peter out at the end...you don't want your Greatest to peter out or pussy out or anything like that at the end...)

Oh, those risdee kids...

I miss the RISD Buddha.

The feng shui for that is perfect.

The way that hill feels, walking up.

It is, indeed, Providence.
