I Have No Idea What This Means But I Like to Mull It

Craig Conley's ABECEDARIAN site appeals to my higher brain.

As a citizen of the secessionist nation-state Cyclothymia, this is a contrarian urge, because citizens of Cyclothymia generally visit the infernal limbic realms when they go on vacation.

But every time I go there, I think about language in a different way.

Which is, as a certain Amish Nazi milkmaid is fond of saying, a good thing.

And every time I go there, I find something I want to steal.

His site activates my magpie gene, I guess...to fall into that modern model of thinking where any indiscretion, no matter how picayune or enormous, is to be blamed on a specific gene.

Surely the name of the indiscretion is written on the gene itself, like the word IBM some mad scientist spelled out with molecules under an electron microscope once.

And on my magpie gene, it says: BLOG THIEF.

But I like to visualize it in pretty cursive writing.

Very Merchant & Ivory.
