The Curiosity of Chance

That's the name of that cute "gay kid perseveres" movie set in the eighties whose title I was trying to remember the other day.

I was looking for a scene featuring his little sister with her fake-English accent but found this instead.

Billy Squier. Hahaha. Some things did not make it out of the eighties, and Billy Squier was surely one of them.

Here's a cute behind the scenes look at the actors, director, etc. of this movie described by one critic as "John Hughes meets John Waters."

The Belgian kid (I say kid but most of these actors are playing much younger than life!) is cute in the movie. He sort of looks like Ray Bolger! Listen to them describe their memories of the eighties. If they have such memories they're definitely much older than what they're playing! I think the one cast member of Beverly Hills 90210 was 28 or 29 when he started with the show. I'm sure there are many other examples.

The protag sort of resembles James Marsden...an even gayer James Marsden.

Marsden is another one of those straight actors who has made a good living playing gay. Gay for pay, but a more innocent form lol.
