Simple Solutions to Life's Perpetual Liffeyness #41: Reptiles Wearing Hats or Eye-Pieces
Reptiles wearing hats, headgear or eyepieces of any sort (monocles, jewelers' loupes, etc.) are almost always signs of spatio-temporal abnormalities.
It may be space which is distempered in the environs of such creatures, time, or both space and time.
Unless you relish the prospect of time and/or space travel, give a wide berth to creatures in herpetological habiliments.
