Depressing but worth watching.
They run many documentaries focussing on Indian life. They usually depress me overwhelmingly but I watch them.
There is another excellent one they run about a photographer who creates an impromptu class for the children of prostitutes in the red light district of one of the major cities (forget which one now) and gives the kids cameras and helps them to discover and develop their talents.
Lest you think this sounds exploitive (and there is that dimension) she concurrently seeks to get them into schools where they would normally be denied admittance, to help them escape the prostitution and dire poverty which almost certainly is to be their lot otherwise.
That one is very moving and frustrating at once (because to even get these opportunities for schooling the children must practically renounce their families and vice versa).
