Today is St. Jerome's Day

I like learning what Saint's Day it is on ETWN each day.

Today is St. Jerome.

He was sassy.

He was known for his foul temper and his mouth.

They read some of his more sarcastic passages today on ETWN.

I could only think of him in his Study (the famous painting) but now I have a fuller picture of him.

Makes sense he is the patron saint of librarians.

And then there's the lion thing.

There was a good discussion about Angels today too.

You probably have very wrong ideas in your head about Cherubim.

I know I did.

I like Mass when Father Mitch presides.

Father Corapi freaks me out.

He's the ex-military Father on ETWN.

The voice alone is enough to scare me.

I expect him to come out in camouflage for one of his sermons.

Wow: here you can buy St. Jerome AND the Lion at the ETWN catalogue online!

I was trying to download one of the famous paintings but was having difficulty.

Get your St. Jerome and Lion here.
