Love is Lovely. Whether it's Centripetal. Centrifugal. Whatever.

I stole this from Australian Peter's blog.

It's lovely.

I don't know who the vocalist is here.

It's from the movie Candy.

Of course, I can't side with Candy's version of the song against the classic one my girl Liz Fraser put out (singing for This Mortal Coil) but this is very purty.

Jeff Buckley was the genius who wrote the song.

There's a version on YouTube of him singing it, paired up with a clip from Candy but surprisingly I didn't like his version of it.

It's done in that voice that men who dress up like sea captains for children's shows use when they sing.

Isn't Heath sexy/lovely here?

The song/scene is just perfect in its innocence.

And the cover of the song is a much softer version than TMC's (almost like a sixties movie theme) which fits this scene much better than the original song would, because the original has more of that almost Bulgarian existential plaint thing going on in it.

Thanks for posting this, Peter.

Luverly.

Much better than the scary shark above it!
