of James Dean. Especially in the middle of the night.
His mother died at 29. He died at 24.
But he's ancient in all of his performances.
When he rode "with" her on the train on her last journey home (she was in her coffin) he got off at every switchover stop to check the progress of the coffin. He was nine years old and already a shepherd!
Fairmount looks like an interesting town to visit. Of course, you've seen it in this vid: The handprint in concrete always gets them.
I want a t-shirt with the image of Morrissey on the tractor with big letters on the back that read "HE THINKS MY TRACTOR'S SEXY." Then maybe a John Deere baseball cap in pink (but with the logo).
Then I need a twenty-four year old to put them on. Preferably a male. But it would look cute on a female also.
I would also like a giant really garish painting of a close up of James Dean and Morrissey in a really overkill kiss.
To hang above my sofa.
Because everybody wants to make out with the dead.
I hadn't realized Fairmount was originally a Quaker community.
It was a good environment to allow an actor like this one to form.
Quakers are "good people." They encourage you to follow your own path. Remember how Quakers used to piss everybody off early in American history with their dogged devotion to free speech and argument?
Just ask Massachusetts about Quakers.
Of course, Paul Newman didn't get the job.
Don't cry for him though. His gayest role was The Left-Handed Gun. See? Even the title was gay.
And you wouldn't want to give up Dick Davelos, would you?
