Hehe Todd Colby on MTV

I was looking for my fellow bloggers on YouTube...

And here I found this clip of Todd Colby on MTV.

I know I saw this back in the day on MTV and loved it but I had no idea I would be enjoying this guy's poetry on his blog one day.

How could I have known that. Nobody had any idea back then there'd be these clothespins made out of light and we'd all be standing in our mental backyards with those clothespins made out of light in our mouth, trying to talk to our neighbors and hanging up our clothes made out of light at the same time.

I love the wonderful kitsch paintings hung around him.

If Todd were your typical blogger, he would have to remind people every fifteen minutes that he's a rock star and has been on MTV qua poet and all that.

But he's not.

If you visit his blog you know that.

He's just one of those good citizens out there in Poetryland.

I think he follows that Japanese proverb: "Do your work. Don't be stupid."

Maybe I should study him. Like a civics class.

Nah, I'll just enjoy his poetry.

It's too late to absorb the other things.

Hehe.
