Mika is "a Gay"

Lee finally brought home the new Mika album. We were enjoying it while we were preparing food.

I already knew like three of the songs.

This album is good. It's a little girlier than his last album, but the songs are almost as infectious as those songs. Almost.

Hey, it's Mika.

I can't complain. He makes me happy.

Lee loves Kylie more than Mika, I think.

It doesn't get much girlier than Kylie.

Thank God she beat the cancer.

She'll always be the Absinthe Fairy to me.

I was laughing because all over these videos, Eastern European people were asking "Is Mika a gay?" And then someone would give the official line that he's polymorphously perverse. And then someone would say "He is a gay...but he is good singer!" And then someone would mutter something in Czech fury. And try not to smile at the pretty, pretty boy singing the pretty, pretty song.







Love the Bronski Beat anecdote here. Makes sense. That it would be a voice like Jimmy's. Mika probably knew even then those registers were going to be his bread and butter lol. And then the gay affirmation that was Bronski Beat. Perfect timing to bake us up a Mika.
